September 28, 2025 05:00 PM until September 28, 2025 09:00 PM
Sunday, September 28, 2025 | 5:00 PM Cocktail Hour | 6:00 PM Dinner
The table is set for something extraordinary. After two sold out evenings, Poppy Presents: Us Friends returns for its third installment, this time celebrating the timeless harmony of food and wine.
For one night only, join Chef Michael Reed and Kwini Reed of Poppy & Seed as they welcome two exceptional talents from Kendall Jackson Wine Estate & Gardens.
Chef Tracey Shepos is Executive Chef and Cheese Specialist, a Culinary Institute of America alum, Food Network champion, and co author of the award winning cookbook SEASON. Tracey is celebrated for her seasonal California cuisine, her passion for artisanal cheese, and her ability to bring depth and creativity to every dish.
Master Sommelier Nick Hetzel is Director of Wine Education at Jackson Family Wines and one of only a few hundred in the world to hold the prestigious Master Sommelier title. With more than twenty years of hospitality expertise, Nick is known for his unmatched palate, depth of knowledge, and storytelling that transforms every pairing into an experience.
Together with Chef Michael Reed, James Beard semifinalist and Food Network alum, they will present a seven course tasting menu with world class wine pairings. The evening begins at 5:00 PM with a golden hour cocktail reception in the garden, followed by a 6:00 PM seated dinner in the Poppy & Seed greenhouse.
What makes this evening even more meaningful is its purpose. Fifteen percent of sales will be donated to No Kid Hungry, a national nonprofit working to end childhood hunger in America. One in five children faces hunger, and No Kid Hungry provides meals, nutrition programs, and resources to ensure every child has access to healthy food. By joining us at this dinner, you are not only treating yourself to an unforgettable culinary experience, you are also making a real impact in the lives of children and families who need it most.
This is more than a wine dinner. It is a celebration of craft, connection, generosity, and the rare magic that happens when food and wine bring people together for a greater cause.
Seats are extremely limited. Reserve your place today and be part of an evening that nourishes both body and soul.
